Join The Mink Hair Train, See Why Customers Are Loving Mink Hair Weave.

There is a mink frenzy going on, and if you're up to date with the latest hair trends, then you understand the reason why. We know that you probably hear a lot about mink coats, but what about mink hair? Well, first and for most, you should know that we are causing no harm to animals in the process of making this type of hair. Mink is a way to describe a high-quality virgin hair, that has a silky softness, long lasting durability, and a realistic finish that will have everyone thinking it's your real curls. Well, hold on, let's slow it down first. If you do hear this term a lot when purchasing extensions do you ever think that it's just a marketing strategy? We get it, sometimes hair companies will say anything to sell their precious bundles, but this trend is no myth. There are so many great and raving reviews when it comes down to mink hair. If you want to know what all the hype is about we would love to inform you. So, if you've been on the fence about purchasing these beauties or never even heard of it, check out this blog post all about what mink hair is, and why everyone is falling in love with these weaves.

Where Did The Term Mink Come From?

So, there is such a thing as real mink hair or mink fur that comes from an animal we call a mink. This animal has very short, dark brown hair that is silky. You can find this same commonality in the extensions we are talking about. Since the beginning of time hunters would take the fur off of these animals to create high-quality clothing. But like we mentioned before the animal, and the hair weaves are two different things. Hair companies take the similarity of the soft, thick texture and apply that to the class or standard of this particular hair weave.

What Exactly Is Mink Hair?

Donate hair

To describe mink here, we first need to be clear about what is virgin hair? So, any human hair is from a living donor that has never had any chemical treatment, dyes, or other harmful products in their hair. These donors then give their hair to sellers or a manufacture who will clean, process, and make sure the weave is perfect and in selling condition. When no chemical treatment is on the hair, it is considered a virgin quality and that is where the term originates. Now on to mink hair, this type is only accepted from a specific group of donors who are known for consistently producing grade A quality hair. In general, the most natural characteristics you'll see in mink hair are; bundles are full/thick, does not tangle easily, cuticles are all facing the same direction, hair is easy/effortless to color, double stitch wefts, and a natural glossy texture. So in summary mink weaves are amazing in quality and customer satisfaction.

Marketing In Mink Hair

Some of the issues that a lot of consumers come across is that they purchase Mink hair, but it doesn't have the qualities that we mention throughout this blog post. The exciting fact about mink hair is that you can market it with many different hair types. So, basically what I'm saying is that mink hair is also considered a marketing word. Many hair vendors will call Peruvian, Indian, and Malaysian Hair "mink" as a selling strategy. If we're honest mink has no real technical classification, and it can become any hair type that sellers want it to be. But no need to fear like we are mentioning if you are purchasing mink hair weave you will notice critical characteristics that sellers suggest that will make it visible you are buying premium hair. Taking the time to understand and research specific weave terms will be beneficial, so you can spend less money but still receive quality mink hair weave.

Main Reasons Customers Love Mink Hair Weave

-Quality

The quality of mink hair is unmatched, which probably justifies the high price. As we will continue to say mink hair is one of the highest quality virgin hair. You can assure with every purchase your hair extensions will be extremely thick, silky smooth, and very full compared to other weaves. Since the hair is provided by donors, who have not added any chemical products this type of hair is more versatile and more accessible to style. What makes the tresses so smooth is the fact that cuticles all face the same direction. Due to the added extra softness, it makes the weave tangle free and less stressful to wash, comb, and brush through.

-Long Lasting Durability

The number one reason customers are raving about mink hair is because of its fantastic durability. The price people pay is very well worth the quality. Typically human hair extensions will last anywhere between 10 to 18 months. The longevity of mink hair can last up to two years, can you imagine not having to pay for your hair for a whole two years? What is so amazing is that within those two years the mink hair will maintain its lustrous color, while also readily accepting new colors. Think of these extensions as your real hair, and you can pretty much do whatever you like to it within reason. With the longevity and quality being top of its class it's no wonder why people are falling in love so quickly with Mink hair weave.

Do not be fooled. A mink is an animal resembling an otter – the hairs are far too short to be hair extensions. They are good for coats or eyelashes but nothing else. MINK HAIR EXTENSIONS ARE NOT REAL HAIR EXTENSIONS LADIES !!!

I am fed up with the search for real mink hair. Received a whole bunch of samples and none of them meets the quality you’ve described here. Please do you happen to know a supplier who can deliver this hair quality.
