Prepping For The Wig Installment

Use your fingers or even a clean makeup brush to apply the gel in a thin line going around the perimeter of your hairline. You will also need a hairdryer for this method to ensure the gel gets tacky.

Putting on Your Wig

Maintaining Your Investment
When it’s time to remove your lace front, remember this is just as important as placing it on. When removing adhesive or tape, be sure to use a commercial grade adhesive remover. This way you will know for sure that it will not harm your skin nor your lace on your lace frontal.
Rub your remover along your hairline where the lace meets the adhesive. Continue to rub gently until the lace begins to lift away from your scalp.
If you used gel and hairspray to place your frontal on, merely using water will remove the lace front.
Do not pull or tug on the lace to remove it doing so will ultimately damage the wig.
Be sure to wash your wig regularly. This depends on your wig provider recommendations. Brush any tangles almost daily, by doing so you will not have any issues when it is time to wash your wig.
Shampoo and condition your wig in a sink filled with warm water.
